VANUATU
Nestled in between Fiji and the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu has 83 islands. It is here you will find beautiful beaches, volcanic peaks, untouched rainforests, reefs, bird life, plus a richness and diversity of culture. The climate is warm and tropical with only one season - summer. The people are very friendly and on remote islands you will often find villagers to be quite shy. Traditional dress and hunting are still part of everyday life rather than simply a performance for tourists. Divers will be drawn to the crystal clear waters, coral reefs and shipwrecks, which all make for some wonderful diving. Santo is the largest island and most famous for being the home of the largest most accessible wreck dive in the world, the SS President Coolidge.
